CBS Volumax 400 Automatic Peak Controller - Studio Addition

A newly acquired CBS Volumax 400 serial #1838.  These were popular as an AM radio station limiter.  They also earned their way into major recording studios, due to their ability to "squash" signals without "pumping".  The Audimax has an effective control window of about 20 dB.  Great on electric guitars.
